Google launches SynthID Detector to identify AI-generated media
Google launched the SynthID Detector website, which lets users check whether images, videos, or audio were generated with AI. Reports differ on the tools it can identify: one says it detects content from Google, OpenAI, and others, while another names Google, OpenAI, Apple, and others.
